Marketing Manager

 

We are looking for an experienced professional with commercial flair and broad experience in manufacturing, ideally with some international exposure.

 

This person will manage the routine operation of the Marketing office and resources, in accordance with the Company procedures.

 

The successful individual would be accountable to:

  • manage, supervise and maintain the Marketing data base and administrative systems to ensure that accurate and timely responses are delivered to the Worldwide Distributor network
  • report and review order intake against budget and forecast, opportunities, review Distributor relationships and performance, identify any problems and any resource issues affecting the department on a monthly basis to the Marketing Director
  • research and identify Worldwide Distribution channels, prepare and submit formal Distribution Agreements to the selected Distributors
  • liaise with production control to ensure that the planned production activity reflects the agreed business budget and forecast
  • take a lead role with specific Distributors or territories as may be required
  • foster, promote and encourage the teamwork approach through the Marketing, and other, departments
  • seek, gain and give support to other functional departments within the business
  • undertake other reasonable tasks as directed by the Marketing Director.

This individual must also be able to:

  • operate within the agreed budget for the department
  • ensure that Company procedures are followed in accordance with ISO 9001

The individual must have the following key competencies:

  • operating in a precise, planned and well organised manner
  • be an effective communicator
  • possess sound technical product knowledge
  • keep abreast of new products, Distribution channels, market and competitor developments
  • exhibit professional management and leadership skills
  • keep reporting personnel effectively managed, motivated and well informed.

Customer Support Engineer

 

This person will handle the installation and commissioning activities for Freepower Ltd products, as well as the product training, development and management of the engineering teams of the worldwide network of appointed Distributors.

 

This person must be able to:

  • operate to the relevant procedures and services required by the department
  • provide support when required for staff within the production test and engineering departments, and provide input for the preparation and issue of Installation and Operator manuals
  • validate the Distributors installation activity and provide on-site commissioning of the Freepower Ltd products with the Distributors engineers to the acceptable sign off and hand over to the end user
  • provide on-site training of the Distributors engineering teams and, where necessary the end users of the Freepower Ltd products to enable them to service and fully maintain the products throughout their operating life
  • undertake other reasonable tasks as directed by the Product Support Manager.

This person must also be able to:

  • operate within the agreed budget for the department
  • ensure that company procedures are followed in accordance with ISO 9001.

This person should have the following key skills:

  • Electronic, electro-mechanical, HVAC engineering competence to a minimum of C & G standard
  • 17th Edition IIE wiring regulations desirable
  • be computer literate
  • have the ability to operate in a well organised manner
  • be an effective communicator
  • possess sound technical product knowledge.
