Corporate Governance and Ethos
A robust set of ethos and governance policies are operated by the Board
Freepower is mindful of the gradual increase in media reporting of high-profile accounting and corporate shortcomings, that have led to Corporate Governance proposals on both sides of the Atlantic. At the outset, Freepower recognized that good governance was of the utmost importance.
The board established, and operates within, a robust set of governance policies defined to meet it's future goals; that are aimed to exceed regulatory compliance, and are designed to place at the heart of all we do, the interests of our customers, suppliers, staff and shareholders.
Our policies formulated from the turn of the Century (2002), and under constant review, use an ethos and principled approach, which is aimed to anticipate future developments in European governance practices. Awareness of issues to do with the environment is also acted on by everyone in the company, and is at the heart of the company's operational activities.
Re-cycling and energy conservation is followed wherever possible, and considerable effort is put into sourcing materials that are produced in the most efficient ways, and are all recyclable when installations are upgraded, or dismantled.
